Fantsy Pants Award
Connie gave me this award.
This award is called "Fantsy Pants." It's an award for "dedicated bloggers who love to blog and encourage friendships through blogging." State why you love blogging and pass it on.

Thank you Connie!

I started blogging because my cute niece Tara though I'd be good at it and helped me get it up and going. At the time I though that it would be a good way to keep the parents and siblings and other family member's up on the comings and goings of the Griffis household. And looked at it as an online journal. Since then it has turned into a way to share my pictures and other parts of my life too. I enjoy all the blogging friendships that I have made through blogging.Thank you for visiting each day and for the comments and encouragement that you leave each day. Thank you for the things I learn from each of you. I will pass this on to:

DAWN in Austin

DEVRI of The NAULA Tribe

JAN of Crazy Lady on Road 80.

She also has another blog that is

wonderfully informative.

I call it Give a Hoot.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I got this cute Tea Towel
She lives in Australia.
She's a first time Grandmother
to little Matilda.
Thank you Sarah Lulu,
you know I love it :)
~~~~~~~~~
And last but not least I had a visitor last week.
I love turtles.
When we were growing up my daddy would bring them home when he found them on the road. We would play with them for a day or so and then they would crawl away. It brought back some of those fun memories.
~~~~~~~~
Now go and Make it a
Great Day!
You Can Make This
Ashley over at Forever and Always introduced this site to me! You need to check it out too.
Have you heard about this cool site yet? Youcanmakethis.com offers the neatest instructions to make the cutest stuff! Here is some info:
was created by a mom who wanted to provide downloadable instructions on how to make just about anything from children's boutique clothing and jewelry, to handbags, home decor and more.
What makes the site unique is that these instructions are written by everyday moms who have an expertise in an area. They are written in a way that makes you feel you have a friend sitting right next to you, telling you what to do next.
They all have detailed instructions and step-by-step full-color photos so even the most "craft-challenged" person can make these items for their homes and families.
If you'd like to try out some products for free, you can sign up for their FREE newsletter. After sign-up, you'll receive a link to your email inbox asking you to confirm subscription. Simply click on that link, and you'll receive all of these product instructions pictured here, plus an online video and digital scrapbooking frames. http://www.youcanmakethis.com/ycmt-newsletter.htm
I stole these pictures from my cousin Pam's blog. She's recently started a blog and I am so excited because I haven't seen most of the family pictures that she has shared on her blog. Keep it up Pam, I love it and thanks!
Tasty Tuesdays
I Just Had To Try It!
MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE
1 Coffee Mug
4 tablespoons flour (plain flour, not self-rising)
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons baking cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
Small splash of vanilla
Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well .
Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.
Add the chocolate chips (if using)
and vanilla, and mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and
cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts.
The cake will rise over the top of the mug,
but don't be alarmed!
Allow to cool a little, and tip out
onto a plate if desired.
EAT! (this can serve 2 if you want to share!)
And why is this the most dangerous
cake recipe in the world?
Because now we are all only
5 minutes away from chocolate
cake at any time of the day or night!
I over cooked mine just a little.
It was still moist and very chocolaty.
I also only used 1 1/2 T spoons oil and it
turned out fine. I ate 1/4 of it with
some cool whip. Tasty!
ON A DIFFERENT NOTE:
Go here to win this little Christmas TuTu!
Darling! And a great blog too!
