Max is my youngest Crenshaw nephew.

My brothers son.

I feel like he has grown up to fast.

This was taken last week during spring break with my cell phone.

I have a lot of cell phone pictures

that I need to dump here into my blog.

Memories of fun good times.

 

I have two sons.

They married Darling Girls.

I love them and love spending time with them.

I hope that I am always a good Mother In Law.

 

 

This is Jordan.

Affectionately know as Aunt Jor Jor.

She painted every ones nails before we went to dinner.

My oldest GRAND, Shelby.

 Miss Freckles should be her name.

She looks so much like her daddy.

He has as many or more freckles.

 

My only GRAND Girls!

We really do hope to have some more one day.

I fear that these two will be grown by then.

Note the blue finger nails.

(Reagan is in Kindergarten and Shelby in 2nd grade this school year)

 



It's always fun to have your picture taken with the

alligator in front of the Caddy Shack at the World

Golf Village in St. Augustine, Florida.

 

This was the only trip I got to take with the girls last year.

A far cry from all the years before.

Key Lime Cake

1 (18.25 ounce) package lemon cake mix

1 1/3 cups vegetable oil

4 eggs

1 (3 ounce) package lime flavored gelatin mix

3/4 cup orange juice

1/2 cup butter

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese

3 tablespoons fresh lime juice

4 cups confectioners' sugar

Directions

1. Combine cake mix, gelatin mix, oil, eggs and orange juice. Pour into three 8 inch cake pans. Bake according to instructions on box. Allow to cool, then frost.

2. To make the frosting: In a large bowl, beat the butter and cream cheese until light and fluffy. Add lime juice and confectioners sugar. Mix well.

This was our familes St. Patrick Day dessert.

Cell Phone Saturday #12

Spring has sprung here in south Georgia.

 And we have been Kite flying a lot in the last two weeks.

Both GRANDgirls are really good at flying kites.

I started teaching them at age 2.

Now that they are 7 and 5 they are real pros.

Makes a Gigi proud.

I bought little cups for the nursery at church and they

were on the kitchen counter so I wouldn't forget to

take them. Reagan called me to come look at her castle!

She was so excited! I had to laugh and

be happy about her creativity.

 (I still had half a pack left for the nursery.)

Cell Phone Saturday #11

On Monday when I went to help the Sweetheart

escape from the hospital, I found this in the parking

 lot behind the hospital. I just let him sit up on that

5th floor and wait on me while I walked round

and round and took picture after picture of

 this ..... this.... truck of Dead Animals.

I'm not sure what else to call it.

And the first thing I thought of besides

somebody has to be crazy, was "Cell Phone Saturday"

I was so excited for y'all to see this that I almost

 shared it with you on Wednesday :)

 But I save it for today!

To start off with, it has a Wayne County Tag, so I was

glad to know it wasn't a local driving this, this thing.

Ta Da!!!!!!!

I wonder what P.E.T.A. would think of this if they saw it?
I bet the owner don't give a hoot what PETA thinks.

I mean, from every angle there is something new to look at.

I wonder how long it took this Red Neck to construct this little gem?

This is the back end :)

Oh, there were lots of people stopping to take Cell Phone Pictures.

I'd have to wait till people backed away so as to not take their pictures.

And look at that Cat? How does it all stay up there when he drives?

That must be some good glue.

How much does this stuff cost?

I just knew y'all would love me for this!

I just know seeing this local stuff makes y'all

want to come down south for a little visit.

Good gracious!

Best hood ornament I have ever seen!

Makes me just want to join Swamp People and kill me a gator.

Now look a little closer.

Those are snakes standing up on the hood.

And I think that is a Bob Cat sitting on top.

And is that a Beaver off to the right side?

This is the Drivers side. You see that gun?

Look at the turned up claw of some kind just above

and to the right of that Jack Daniels bottle.

See what I mean, every angle tells it's own story.

I just couldn't get enough.

 I must have taken 25 pictures.

Just nasty.

And funny thing, when I showed my son this

picture he said he had seen this truck

on the "Cars of Walmart" web site.

And when I showed the GRAND-girls,

they had already seen this truck in the the Christmas Parade.

See what I missed by not going??

Who knew?

Well, one last look up close and personal

of the tail gate. I really wanted you to see the skull

head with the black hair.

Mercy what an awesome cell phone find for this week!

I need to get out of the house more often!

Cell Phone Saturday (week 10)

He owes me big time!

My Sweetheart of 34 years,

owes me!

Yep!

That is the Sweetheart in a hospital bed!!!!

And he scared me to death, again.

I tell him he takes years off my life when these things happen.

He went off in the Ambulance about 11:30 Wednesday night.

Crazy thing, soon as they showed up, I started to throw up.

Nuts, I tell you, just nuts!

Good thing that the son that lives the closest to us

followed the ambulance and stayed

the night with him in the ER.

I stayed home and worked thru the virus

 that has been going around down here.

I showed up the next morning was sick

 again and had to go back home.

That time my brother was in town and

he was able to stay with the Sweetheart.

And it was a really bad time for him so

I was really glad that he stayed with my Sweetheart.

He is much better.

He had an infection jump on him really fast.

He stayed in the hospital 5 days.

He's better.

He's out and already back to work.

He loves work :)

He loves me, more.

And that is why he owes me.

We were suppose to have a date the very night he went in the hospital.

We were gonna celebrate our 8th anniversary.

That anniversary was the one of our

Kidney donor, Kidney transplant surgeries 8 years ago March 1st. 

Yep, the man has one of my Kidney's.

And it's a good one too.

So tomorrow night we are gonna try and celebrate again!

My very first ride in the Sweethearts Money Pit!

It was a lot more fun than I thought it would be.
He's like a kid in a candy shop.
Very happy.
Still needs a lot of work but at least it is drivable.

I am late in getting something up.
We have had a week of sickness with our children,
GRANDchildren and now the Sweetheart.
Looking ahead to hopeful a better week!

Welcome to Cell Phone Saturday!

One night last fall we had dinner out with the family.

A very talented balloon artist stopped by our table and

took requests and then made balloon animals for the girls.

 Reagan wanted a rabbit!
It think this one was awesome.
And actually it was Reagan that wanted me to
take a picture of her ballon.

 Shelby's was a monkey.
Only thing that looked like a monkey to
me was the color and the long tail.

I have 3 - two year olds.

And the FDOT Brothers, as the Sweetheart calls them.

We were watching Animal Planet and all snugly one Saturday night.

One GRANDgirl fell asleep.

She looked so sweet so I took out my cell phone and took a picture of her.

The other one said, "take mine too".

She pretended to be sleeping, I took her picture.

So which one was faking??

Cell Phone Saturday #2

Imagine my surprise when I saw these 3 pictures!

I barely remember taking them with my cell phone.
We stopped by the bank one day last year Dec. 2010

and Santa was right there beside the line to the cashiers.

Of course the girls had to take a turn.

Reagan doesn't look to enthused but Santa has a great smile!

The girls have grown a lot in the last year

 and I am glad to have these pictures of them

even if they are just cell phone pics.

Cell Phone Saturday

I end up with lots of pictures on my cell phone.

 I decided that they need to go somewhere.

 I thought I would start a Cell Phone Saturday Blog Post.

So here is the first one.

The first week in October I drove my MIL up the road 17 miles to Darien, GA.

We were on a mission to purchase fresh Wild GA. Shrimp straight off the docks.

We were preparing for the Floyd Family reunion.

Boone's Seafood of course cause they are related to

 my side of the family.

Looks as it the Dorothy brought in today's catch.

30lbs of Deliciousness!

They look good in our cooler!

And even better cooked and on a plate!
