Hello Beautiful Monday

A few weeks ago my frozen friend Tauna tagged me with this little diddy.

"I'm suppose to tell 5 things I won't leave home without."

See, she really has nothing better to do as she sits amongst her 9 foot snow drifts.

Oh and she does play with her husband's power tools and she does do somes awesome arts and crabs!

(Reagan calls it "arts and crabs", it always makes me giggle when she says it.)

I really do feel sorry for her so I will play along with her request

even if I am two weeks late.

I took the following pictures with my handy cell phone.

Gotta take the purse.

Gotta have my watch and a bracelet.
My watch is from Brighton and I've had it for 10 years.
The cute bracelet right beside it came from my sweet friend Connie.
She bought it in China when she was there last year.
The other bracelet with the big flower on it came
from that sweet Tauna. She brought it to me when she came
to meet me at Sissy's funeral. She also
brought me a cute matching necklace.
(Connie also came, bearing gifts, to meet me at Sissy's funeral! Such sweetness from both of them.)
Neither one of them knew I was such a bracelet freak.
I've been known to turn around and come back to the
house to get my watch and bracelet if I forget it on my
hurried way out the door.

I feel naked with out them.

Truck keys, credit card, (I never carry cash) and cell phone.
Which I am using to take these pictures.

Water bottle or Diet Coke.
Usually the water.

These big wipes!
I have 3 packs in the truck right now, one in my
purse and I make the Sweetheart keep them in his truck too.
I do have hand sanitizer in my purse but I just like these wipes better.
Especially on Sunday's when we shake so many hands.
Once we sit down and the meeting starts I pull these out and make sure we both wipe our hands good. The Sweetheart can never be to careful.
He has zero immune system, due to the anti-rejection drugs he takes.
I always wipe down the grocery buggy, the gas pump handle,
my steering wheel, little GRAND~girls germy school hands,
etc, etc, etc!!

I know this is and extra item but along with a toothbrush and tooth paste and dental floss in my purse and another set in my truck we also have these every where.
Since buying my first pack several years ago we have completely stopped buying wooden tooth picks. These are wonderful! A pick on one end and a little brush on the other.
They are in the Sweetheart's truck as well and in several drawers in the house.

So here's to you dear Tauna, thanks for giving me a new post.

as I have every window open and am listening to the birds sing

and the temperature is 85* outside today!

I love to bake any thing sweet. Cakes are a favorite.

Sewing

5- What is the FIRST thing you would do with a jumbo lottery jackpot?
I don't play the lottery but if I had a money tree grow in the back yard, I'd tithe 10% then give it all away in helping my family and friends to be debt free so that they could in turn help others. Where much is given much is required.

6- What song/artist do you always turn off when it/they come on the radio?

Anything rap~ish.

7- What one household chore is your favorite? (Or at least the least hated?)

9- What food do you like that most would say "Eeeeew!" to?

Yes, because I'm just sure you are not interested in my personal junk.

Weekly, but I'm telling ya right now, if I had a maid and it was a more green thing to do, I'd love to crawl into clean sheets EVERY night!

Every other day.

I'm sure I probably have but can't remember a specific incidence.

4. Do you like to talk on the phone or send emails to communicate?
Talk

6. I have know people who take a new towel each day after they shower. Are you one of those people?

Yes, you should have saw that coming from the clean sheet thing.

7. Have you ever been on the news or had your picture in the newspaper?
Picture in the newspaper.

8. Do you buy new cars or do you always buy a used car?
The last few have been new. The truck I drive now is 6 years old. I paid it off 3 years ago. Before that I had an Expedition and drove it for 10 years and sold it to a friend who is still driving it and when I see it on the road I wish I had it back. BEST vehicle we ever owned!!!

9. Do you have a green thumb when it comes to house plants?

NO!

10. Where would you like to live when you retire?

Where ever my kids are living which is right here where I live now.

7 Things About Me

Sweet Connie from "I Started Out As A Child" tagged me for "7 things about Me". And only because she is such a sweet person and I would never want to hurt her feelings, I will play along.

I just hate for y'all to learn just how weird and boring I really am.

1. I wear my "Cleo" Crocs every day. I have them in 4 colors. They are the first thing I slip my feet into in the mornings. I hate it when I have to wear something else. (I don't mind my tennis shoes if I'm going to do a lot of walking)

2. I love to rock in a rocking chair.
I love rocking a baby to sleep.

3. I can't stand being HOT! I can't stand my feet to be hot. Several times a day I put one foot in the bathroom sink at a time and run cold water over them.

4. I love mail, even junk mail. I hate it if anyone gets the mail out of the box before me. And when there is nothing in the mail box I'm disappointed. (My Daddy is a retired letter carrier maybe that has something to do with it)

5. I love fresh home grown tomatoes and could eat them 3 meals a day. Most days lately I've had them for lunch as well as supper.

6. I can lead music but I can't read music. I don't enjoy it.

7. I love ironing and it really bugs me when I see someone in wrinkled clothing.
