Bentley Boo Dog celebrated New Years Eve

with a McDonald's ice cream cone.

How is it that we love our 4 legged babies so much.

This is one spoiled rotten dog.

Cell Phone Saturday

 

Bentley Bulldog went with us on our
 date night a few weeks ago.
He's sort of spoiled.
He got an McDonald's ice cream cone.
It's his favorite.
Not sure what that look is all about,
I wasn't eating his ice cream.

Bentley is a very smart dog.
I've trained him well.
He Kennels Up when told.
He sits on command,
Shakes hands,
Belly Crawls,
Rolls over,
And loves to play fetch.
(So do the dachshunds brothers)

After 2 1/2 years I have finally learned to love my dogs.

One night last fall we had dinner out with the family.

A very talented balloon artist stopped by our table and

took requests and then made balloon animals for the girls.

 Reagan wanted a rabbit!
It think this one was awesome.
And actually it was Reagan that wanted me to
take a picture of her ballon.

 Shelby's was a monkey.
Only thing that looked like a monkey to
me was the color and the long tail.

I have 3 - two year olds.

And the FDOT Brothers, as the Sweetheart calls them.

National Dog Day

August 26 is National Dog Day.

This was on Fox News yesterday and was so tender

and really touched my heart.

This is the funeral of one of those Navy Seal's.

Brought tears to my eyes.

              

Togetherness

There is only so much lap to go around!

And it was a 3 dog night.

Happy 1st Birthday Bentley

From this sweet little puppy.

And look at his ears they are both laying down.

To this huge handsome guard dog.

And like everything else in this house

the Sweetheart has managed to spoil him rotten.

I look forward to many years of loving Bentley.

The Red Chair

The Red Chair Revisited.

When the Sweetheart was in the hospital

I talked him into getting a new chair for

him and the kids and the animals to share.

They all love to sit on his lap and his old

chair just wasn't big enough to share anymore.

It is so big that he and I can both sit in it together.

I ordered it on line, and they call it " A Chair and a Half".

It is a recliner but not a rocking recliner.

It's GREAT and we all LOVE it!

The GRAND~girls can lay down together in it.

Plenty of room for 65 pound Bentley.

After a few days of being in my house

the chair got cold and got it's on blanket.

Walgrin loves the chair and sits in one corner.

Dawson lays in the other corner.

Sometimes they share it.

Even Mo, the fat cat can share it with his Sugar daddy.

I get to sit in it when they let me :)

53 Years Young!

Meet Ci Ci who Reagan can not get enough of.

The Darling Daughter In Laws

cooked a lovely dinner last night for my birthday.

My birthday was Thursday and I just love

extending it to make it a birthday weekend!

I also got birthday phone calls from all my family and several friends and over a 100 wishes on facebook!

All in all it was a terrific birthday!

One Really Long Dog

Or is it two?? Yeah, it's two, the back end of Walgrin and the front end of Dawson. We were trying to celebrate their 1st birthday. They weren't really getting off on it to much. I'll post the other pictures soon. I'm off and running this morning.

Reading To Dogs

Reagan loves to read to Bentley.

Bentley likes the chewing on the book better than her reading.

But the two of them spell t.r.o.u.b.l.e.

I really just wanted yall to see how big Bentley is getting.

He is over 60 pounds and is 10 months old.

They are crazy for each other but he can get a little rough still.

Most of the time he thinks he is a dachshund.

He finally has a deep loud scary bark and that

is the real reason we got him, we wanted a guard dog.

He's a good one.

I'm In Love

I don't often meet a dog that I want to take home with me.

This was the exception.

Such a sweet dog and we never saw his owner

and I don't even know his name

but really, I wanted to take him home.

Look at that face!

How could you not love that face?

Nip Tuck

This is a dog on drugs.

Bentley had a few things removed this past week.

His dewclaws and his manhood.

But look at that cute ear standing at attention.

The Sweetheart thinks maybe we should

have had that thing taken care of but it's my favorite thing about him.

He was a little silly acting.

He's feeling a lot better.

Trouble Makers

We have no Internet service or telephone again!!!

The Sweetheart was mowing grass on Saturday and when

he was through, I had no phone service again.

He is blaming the Dogs

and they are blaming him!!

We did find a wire in the back yard that had been dug up and chewed.

Not sure if it is a phone line or not.

Thanks to the Darling DIL, I have Internet.

She brought by her work Internet card.

She goes back to work and school tomorrow

so I may be in the dark again soon.

Speaking of trouble makers...

Bentley Boy is almost 7 months old and weighs in at 53 pounds.

He still has the cute ear problem.

One lays over and the other is always standing at attention.

He's a real mess.

These two, oh my gosh!

They are just one big ball of hyperness!

They wrestle and play ALL THE TIME!

They love each other and they LOVE Bentley.

They are 8 months old now.

Walgrin is the biggest brother and weighs 22 lbs.

Dawson is weighing in at 19.2 lbs.

Life around our house has changed and

we are beginning to adjust to that change.
