My name sake turns 16 today.

We share the same middle name.

It all started with my Great Aunt Betty Arlene.

Then my mother, Janice Arlene.

Then me, Gigi Arlene.

Then came our Amelia Arlene Crenshaw.

Darling Daughter in Law turned 30 today.

She also requested cheesecake, Oreo Cheesecake.

I didn't make her make her own.

I made it for her.

In her word's, "it was the bomb".

That's a good thing!

We had a family dinner last night

then she was off to her 12 hour shift at the hospital.

She sent several pics from a wonderful trip we took together back in 1993.

beside Elvis star, fanny pack and all!
I've always loved Elvis.

Happy 15th Birthday

We had a family birthday party here at my house this

 past Saturday celebrating my niece, Anna's 15th birthday.

Poor thing, I made her make her own birthday

cheesecake. Her request!

 I figured there was no time like the present

to learn to make cheesecake. She doesn't like birthday cake!

**GASP**

Now we all know how much I like any kind of cake,

especially birthday and wedding cake!

This was a GREAT tasting cheesecake

and she LOVED it!
