Well Master Ammon is the youngest Griffis GRAND~child.
And he turned 9 years old on Thursday August 12 the same day he started school and the same day his Grandpa Griffis passed away.
The next day we waited all evening for him to get here from Birmingham, AL.
His Grandma was happy to see him as well as the rest of us.

We had a little party for him and he was surprised.
And a little embarrassed.
But pretty excited to get a new suit coat,
he'd always wanted one like his older brothers.
He got some cash too and that was even better.

I'm sure he won't forget his 9th birthday! Lots happening on that day. He is a cutie. It's good there was a party for him.
I do remember him. He's still a handsome young man and I wish him a belated happy birthday. I know it will be a bittersweet date but I know his grandma especially was eager to give him a hug on his special day. His grandpa would be very proud of him in his suit coat.

As I was looking at all the photos I look at what I have on and it happen s to be the very sasme duster as Kathleen. Now that's astonishing! Same color trim and all. I'm sure she enjoys it as much as I do mine and I feel honored that we have similar tastes in comfort.
First, I love the name Ammon - You hear Alma or Brigham (well at least in UT and ID), etc...but not Ammon alot. (my 2 cents lol).
