It totally made me cry too. People that say dogs are just animals, have never had one. My first dog helped me through such a difficult period in my life. When I'd cry, she'd come and lay next to me and put her paw in my lap and look up at me with such love and concern. Then later, when my first baby was born, she'd come and find me whenever he'd cry. I have no doubt that they have feelings too.
oh man...incredibly awsesome. My dog Lucy is very sensitive to my moods it seems. When Matt died, she just hung her head on my lap or shoulder and didn't make a sound our whole trip to Utah....as I sobbed Pets are intuitive and valuable
I saw this too and it is really touching. I have been thinking about it every since I saw it. Dogs are really amazing and loyal animals. I really feel sad for the dog not understanding where his beloved master is. Waiting for him.
It is a picture that will not readily leave my memory.

I was fascinated with that story and cried. As a fellow dog lover, I don't get people who don't 'get' it. : )
I am mocked for my dogs ashes in boxes on my mantle, but I don't care. They are my family.
