Our 4th of July

Friday Shoot Out
Our subject this week is... The Fourth of July in your Town

To join in the shoot out fun visit here.

We spent the evening with our oldest son

and his wife and our only GRAND~girls!

It was a most delightful evening

with a nice cool front and great breeze.

There was a lot of sister love going around.

Their daddy helped them practice the art of "sparklers"
in the day light so they would know what to do in the dark.

They caught on fast and really enjoyed playing with them.

This was the view in front of us.

Behind us, the parking lot.

I feel like I captured fireworks a lot better this year than I did last year.

We missed Jor Jor and Big Baby.
They celebrated with her family in another state.
Great July 4th, 2010

Ahh, the delight on those little girls' faces! They put fireworks to shame. Although I must admit your fireworks are lovely!

You did great on all the shots. The one w/Rea and the pinwheels needs to be sudmitted in a photo contest. It would win, big time!

Oh Gigi, I just love your photos, especially the picture of the girls giving sisterly love. They are so adorable and that hair cut really does look good on Shelby.

Your firework pictures turned out really good too. It's so much fun learning how to capture things at night.
