That's a real cherished give away, but count me out, cause I would not cook anything with them. Give to one of those great cooks who loves to bake.
It ends Tuesday night the 4th? That's election day, I guess you will be celebrating the new elected president and something else, now let me see, what is it?
Love,
Dad
Well, I could cook so many dishes. Let's see pecan pies, sweet potato souffle, amish friendship bread, and an assortment of cakes. I also like to eat them plain, and mix them with yogurt and fruit YUM! YUM!
I hope I win.
My mom taught me the best way to eat pecans is...2 pecans and a Hershey kiss...better than a candy bar!
GIGI!!! ooooo...pick me pick me. Here, here (yelling while waving my hand like a maniac). I'm dying to try PW's apple pie receipe and I know nothing will taste better than fresh pecans.
congrats gigi on your 300. i'm almost at 200! i think i would have to try my hand at making some of that vary famous pecan pie!!!
Gigi you have to be the most generous person I know, giving away Georgia pecans; that's right "pa-cons" not "pee-cans" lol. I would make banana bread, rum balls, brie en croute, chocolate delight bars and of course sweet and spicey roasted pecans! Psst, don't tell anyone else this, but I would then sneak off and eat some of them pecans alone!
Funny you should be offering these delightful treasures at this time.
I have been thinking Aunt Thelma's now her daughter Dolores blueberry roll that has been a stanby at the Crenhaw reunion for years and years. In organizing the pantry, this past week, I found three cans of Bluberries that need to be used and with Thanksgiving coming up I was thinking how very much I would love to make a blueberry roll with the original crust of pecans instead of the graham cracker crust that has taken it's place with the rise in $$$'s of the most valued southern Georgia pecans. Since Dad relinquished his bid put me in for two and I'm not at all ashamed to accept them if I am chosen and if not you can give me some for your birthday!!! lol
Hugs n' Love n' Prayers Always,
mama
Oh by way of authenticity, The Lady and sons from Savannah, Georgia her nibs miz Paula Deen said the southern way to pronounce the delectible nut is pee-can, like in round tin container, to which all Southern born Belles will attest.

I would use them to make my special fudge recipe for Thanksgiving or for my yummy pumpkin surprize dessert.
Dear Aunt Gigi,
I luv pecans! Plain, in brownies, cake, and a bunch of other things. I actully haven't tried them in a pie before. So I guess I'll give them to my dad to make one. I'll try it only as long as they are fresh!!

Anna Nana
Well i dont know how to resist anna nanna!!!! I love pecans but gma gave me some too & i dont bake so give them to someone who deserves them who will slave over a hot oven baking holiday treats!
I'll toss them in some cookies and brownies!
Fun, fun, fun! My mom always sends me home with pecans from her freezer. I love them, but have not been very good at using them, except for eating. But, Jay would love it if I did bake something with them.
I would love to get these pecans.
I am not normally a fan, but I do love to do what Paula Dean does with them.
She uses sugar and other stuff and bakes them. Yum

Granny McVeigh's sweet potato casserole is the most delicious recipe ever! I make it every Thanksgiving, and while my mom and Dustin are the only other members of my family who like it, it is always a really big hit at church dinners. The secret is in the crispy, crunch of the corn flake, butter, and pecan topping. YUM!!!! Pecans are my very favorite nut. Pick me (your very favorite nut)!!!
I'd make that pecan thing you love so much!
300, wow, I'm wow'd!
I would put them to good use. I might even cook something and surprise my family. We went to Golden Corral after visiting last night, and I had a most delicious salad that I topped with sunflower seeds & PECANS! Yummy!!
Sister Carla
I am in fo shore!!!!
ohhh what would I do? mmmm the opportunitites are endless.......chop them up and put them in my yummy cinnamon rolls ( I could share some with you ), I could of course make a pecan pie, mmmmmmm all I can think of is using them in food of some sorts.

LOVE YOU so much!
Lorilei Tucker
My mouth is watering! But what are the chances of me winning two things from you???? We'll just have to see!
