Zucchini

Friday Shoot Out
This weeks theme: Transition
I'm sure this a far stretch for the theme but this is all I could come up with this week.
Take fresh Zucchini
Slice it length wise.
Grill on both sides for 3-4 minutes.

Cover it with your favorite pasta sauce.

Sprinkle with your favorite cheese.
De~lish!!

What time is dinner?
That does look delish.

I purposefully did NOT plant zuchhini this year.
I don't care if it makes me feel good about myself cause it grows in spite of me. I just hate the stuff.
THAT creation of your transition looks divine.

here Aborora Italiano is one of the best vegies we have. I do all sorts of stuff with it - this looks like a good option to try.

I like to boil the whole zucchini until slightly tender. remove from water / slice in half lengthwise / scoop out seeds and some meat / mix with an egg and bread crumbs (fine) add a bit of grated parmeson / put back into peal (on a cookie sheet - sorry out of order) it will now be rounded - sprinkle lightly with grated parmeson - put into a hot oven for about 10 minutes / until golden brown. makes two servings - I serve as a side / substitute for potatoes for pork chops or chicken breast.... good enough for company.

sorry that should be aboborha. all squash is the same name - zucchini is italian.

Gigi, that looks like quite a transition to me. It went from good to yummy. I love zuchhini prepared just about any way you can dish it out.

Oh yum, good for you! I was going to post a picture of a ravioli dish I just made (I'm trying to transition into an Italian cook!!), but I forgot. I'm glad someone did a wonderful series of food shots.

That does look SO good.
I think we have been eating Zucchini more this year than any other year. I LOVE it and always have but my family has finally started to appreciate it!
