I Won!! I Won!!

I had a phone call telling me that I had won a $250.00 Gift Certificate!!

However I did not win the Silhouette machine that I signed up for :(

But I did win a $250.00 gift certificate for LMC Truck parts!!!!
Well I was so excited that I went through the catalog and had
picked out all of y'all a Christmas present!!

I thought y'all could use a pink pair of dice to hang from
your review mirrors!!
You're welcome!!
I hoped you would love them as much as I did!
Well, imagine my disappointment when the gift certificate came in the mail
and it had both The Sweetheart's and my name on it!!
That meant that I had to share with him!
He had on his list, a head liner, carpet, a console and door covers!
What?
That meant that there was no money left for the pink dice!
I'm sorry, I'll have to find something else for your presents!

Now, I know you are wondering where and how I signed up for
$250.00 worth of truck parts!

When all of you were hitting the stores for those wonderful Black Friday Deals
I was walking off that Thanksgiving dinner in Daytona Beach, Florida!
Not at the beach but at the Daytona 500 Speedway!
The annual Turkey Run is the largest car show and swap meet in the Southeast.

Turquoise is such an in color!
I guess this is what they call the swap meet part of the show.
You swap your money for their junk!
Pictures like this have me hunting for Waldo!

The smells of all the carnival food were wonderful!
Those funnel cakes and curly fries and Fried Bologna Sandwiches
just made us so hungry.
But after what I had eaten the day before I was looking for something
a little different.

We did find a wonderful Greek Salad, so good!
I also found these that would look really good on MY TRUCK,
not his truck.

And this of course caught my attention!
But I didn't have enough money to swap them for these two items.
That didn't mean I wasn't interested in them though.
It would have been nice to have had $29000.00 to swap for this gorgeous truck!

The Sweetheart did swap some of his money for an air condition
to put in the truck that he is having rebuilt!
Merry Christmas to him!!
But truth be told, he knows I won't ride in that
truck without air-conditioning!!
My very first time at the Daytona Speedway
was a beautiful day with perfect weather, spent with my Sweetheart!
I personally think that once is enough for me,
he can take one of the boys next year!

Congratulations on the win--way to go, even if you have to share ; )

I have never been to a car race--I think once would be enough for me, too.

Well, congratulations YOU!!!!
I hope that the sweetheart will get you some pink dice anywayz.

That truck would have been pretty fabulous to have driven home. You would look so "hawt" in that.

The swap meet looks like fun.

Your life is so stinkin' exciting.

Congrats on the win (at least for your honey anyway) LOL
Aaaaah Daytona Beach...we spent 13 yrs there every winter at our condo in Daytona Beach shores on A-1-A. It served us well until all the crazy building started and the high rise condos went up on every inch of the beach! It ruined the quaint little place we knew n loved! Also getting hit by 3 hurricanes in a row in 2004 did us in!!! Time to move on to a different place that is inland a little. I worked the Daytona 500 hundred in 2002 and let me tell U!!! It was so loud that I worked one day and never returned!
We do get to return to that area when we come down to Ga. Our friends still have a place there so its fun to go back to our old stomping ground every now n then!
Looks like you had fun during your visit!
