Tasty Tuesday

These really are good and easy!

7 Up Biscuits

2 c Bisquick mix
1/2 c sour cream
1/2 c 7up
1/4 c melted butter
Preheat oven to 450º 
 
Cut sour cream into biscuit mix, add 7-Up and melted butter.
 
Makes a very soft dough.
Sprinkle additional biscuit mix on board or table and pat dough out. 
 
Butter a 9 inch square pan.
 
  Place biscuits in pan and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.

I confess, that I get my bisquits at Ruth's diner. (shame) But if I were to ever toy with the idea of actually MAKING some, I would go with this easy recipe

I've never heard of using 7-up in a recipe except for punch. Sounds like something I'd like to try. :)

How did 7-Up come to be such a versatile baking ingredient? Gotta love it!
I'll totally try these - we have biscuits alot when I don't have time to make rolls.
