Five Generations!

I was asked to speak at Peyton's baptism today. I was honored.

Her mother is September, her grandmother is Dottie,

her great-grandmother is Sharon and her

great-great grandmother is Audrey.

Audrey was married to my grandfather's brother Lyman.

Peyton was baptized by her great-Papa, Willard Rozier.

This is Peyton's little brother, Gage Michael. He'll be 2 years old March 24th.

That's a great picture of all of them. Peyton an Gage have really grown. I guess that's the reason that I didn't see S&W vehicles at their house on Sat. Pretty soon they're gonna be full time residents in Darien! How did you do on your talk?

Sooo great to read and see these beautiful photos. The miracle of Gigi & Dottie meeting for the first time in August 1975, the year they graduated from high school is just that,- A MIRACLE!

IT WAS THROUGH DOTTIE THAT GIGI MET HARRY A YEAR LATER.

Early August the Padgett families attended the funeral of a cousin's wife Ruth Flake Boone, in Jacksonville Florida. Wife of James R. Boone, 1st cousin of Carlos & Lyman.

Daughters Janice (Carlos) and Sharon (Lyman) met for first time since their teens. As children they would spend a few days at each others homes during summer vacations. After marrying they were busy raising their families and lived far apart.

LDS funerals are like family reunions - enjoyed and not avoided by kin who share the knowledge of "WHERE we came from, WHY we are here and the post mortal life."

Janice and Sharon were able to visit a few minutes after the services since the burial would be in Arizona later in the week.

They found that they had daughters born the same year and they the daughters would be flying out to Rexburg Idaho in a couple of weeks to attend LDS Ricks College!

During the two weeks before Gigi left for the west, Janice and Gigi made a quick trip to Brunswick, Georgia, so Dottie & Gigi could meet.

The REST IS HISTORY!

And 32 plus years of beautiful memories and a bonding of cousins into a closeness deeper than of sisters.
