Friday Fences #3

Looks as if this is a long forgotten place.

Glad the Sweetheart stopped for me to snap these pictures.
Found along High Falls Road.

I love that! I wish the walls could tell the story. The picture does a great job of that, but I would like to know what the housewife had going on in her head as she sat out on the porch.

Love the chair and its shadow on the porch. This is cute place.

Whenever I look at old places like that, I start deconstructing it and figuring out what I would do with it's old wood and other old pieces.

The little house looks in fairly good condition and could probably still be useful. Can't say much for whatever was on the side.
Looks like a little hunting cabin.
Great find!

I would love to know the story of this place....

I suspect this place hasn't been abandoned that long, don't you? In my neighborhood there's a house and yard that this young teacher lived in with his two dogs. Now it's rented and falling down in disrepair over just a few years. Lesson is that what we love must be tended, I guess?

Thanks for sharing this great pic, Gigi. I love the old chair on the front. I can just imagine someone sitting there waving at every passer by!

Love the chair on the porch! I'm glad he stopped too! It's hard to get all the fantastic detail while driving past.
