The movie, "Glory" was filmed on Jekyll Island, GA. and came out Dec. 1989,
Denzel Washington won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in this movie.
This walkway that leads all the way down to the Atlantic ocean
and was build as a gift from the film crew.
This is the view at the end of the walk way.
This is the view to the right, looking south.
And this is the view to the left, looking north.
It was a beautiful warm December afternoon on a deserted beach.

Where on Jekyll is that bridge? That is such a cool tidbit that I never knew! Saw that movie in one of my classes in Junior High and had to miss my next class because I was still sobbing about 20 minutes after the movie was over ... so I'd like to see the walkway! :)
