I don't care how you cook it, I don't consider it meat!

oooh! I love Spam!

Here in Austin, they have Spam-a-rama. It's a tribute to Spam, with all kinds of contests and cook-offs. Spam toss and the like. Honestly, I've never been as I always seem to be out of town.

I can eat it but I havn't in a long time, but I have some in my food storage. If you are hungry enough, you'll eat it.

Love ya,
Dad

I used to love Spam in college. I used to fry it up and eat it on a sandwich. Just goes to show what you will do when you are desparate!

I was almost afraid to read that post for fear that you found this a fabulous delicacy. (you eat okra after all)

But now I can be your friend. Whew, you hate Spam.
I have some in food storage but I have no intention of EVER eating it.

Ya, Spam cook off and Spam toss...in that order. First you cook it and then you "toss" it....(as in vomit)

Have a good day!

Love Spam - online & in the frying pan. You're right it's 10% meat and 90% salt.

Um yeah. Definitely not a meat product. Shouldn't even be in the food group!

Ate it once, and will never again unless I'm desperate. I'll have to stock some in my emergency preparedness kit.

I agree, we don't eat it either. Meat has to be fresh and unprocessed
