Carla Elaine Crenshaw Adams
The poor middle child of our family of 5 children.
We had a birthday lunch with her yesterday at the Seasons of Japan!
Twas a fun good time!
She was in town for a Dr.s appointment.
Good timing Sis.
These are Carla's daughters. Anna is the youngest and Jami Olivia is her oldest.
Our baby Brother was in town for work and was also able to join us too.
This little GREAT niece, Reagan, was so excited to have a party.
We went shopping at the Dollar Store and she and her sister picked out Auntie Carla some pretty funny gifts. Carla acted like they were the best thing since white bread and the girls really got a kick out of her opening her presents.
You recon we are all related with these cute freckled faces!
Both Reagan and Shelby with their Great Aunt Carla.
And then the two of us.
The oldest and the middle sister.
(I'm looking and feeling tired this week. Just been one of those crazy busy weeks)
On a different note:
Our sister, "Sissy", Clarie Leigh passed away 6 months.
Her passing has left a void in our hearts and our family.
I still have issues with the way her funeral went down.
If you were there you might know what I am talking about.
Longest funeral ever.
And her father in law gave the concluding talk and didn't speak about her but gave the longest talk about her husband THAT IS STILL ALIVE!!
If I even think about it much I get bitter feelings.
So I try not too.
Oh well, whatever!
I would like to wish you all a very safe and Happy 4th of July weekend!
Smiles!
So I try not to think about it.

Its so nice to stay connected to your sibs. Nothing like having a sister who is also your friend! Great photos of the B.day celebration. The kids are all so adorable! Sorry to hear about the passing of your sister. You also have a wonderful Independence day! Enjoy!!!
How fun to have a get together and enjoy!
There are some serious freckles in that family! I love them.
It is fun to read posts about your family because I had the privilege of meeting them briefly.
I can't believe it's been six months since the funeral.
Ya, his dad did go on, but for me I so loved being there. To watch everyone signing was awe inspiring.
We didn't mind one bit!
Have a wonderful 4th of July weekend.
Hugs and loves!
Happy birthday to your sis! Love the last picture of you and her. Both so beautiful!
I'm with Tauna. It's so fun to see pictures of your family since I saw them in real life. I'm sorry to say I missed the last talk at the funeral but the part I saw was fascinating.
I hope you have a fun-filled 4th of July! Love ya, Gigi.
Happy Birthday to Carla, one of my BFFs!!
Such bright shining happy faces =)
As I was looking through the pictures, I was thinking all you Crenshaws look just alike!
My grandma had a saying, "Your Daddy ought to claim ya, cuz you look just like him!"
You all do look alike! And I don't think you look tired, I think you look beautiful (and not like the oldest at all).
Um, that would bug me about the funeral too. But try not to think about it.
Happy 4th!!
Remembering your other sister too ..xx ... AND YES I do think you look related with all those freckles!!!
You have such lovely sisters. Fun, fun, fun to get together to celebrate birthdays.
Funerals are never easy are they. Hugs.
I hope you have a wonderful 4th of July.
I love freckles and am learning to embrace my own.
Happy B-Day Carla! How great you guys could do lunch!
