Yes, I done the duct tape eons ago. some of the first disposable diapers didn't have tape at all! It ain't easy getting pins through plastic, so someone decided to add tape. Only problem with that was if you messed up on the adjustment it wouldn't restick.. so duct tape :-)
Ha ha ha! Bet the manufacturers of Duct tape never thought of that one! Glad my daughter isn't the only one who goes through clothes like that - I was beginning to despair.
Been catching up and looking at your wedding photos - there are some superb ones there that they'll love. I think that taking LOTS of photos is one of the things we amateurs have to learn to do. The change in someone's expression in a second can make all the difference and taking lots of photos means you can capture it.
I know you had boys, so I'll let you in...that never changes! My Girl would go through clothes like nobody's business. Amazing how that stopped when she started having to pay to do her own laundry.
However, I have been known to duct tape my kids together and make them walk down the sidewalk with their hands ducttaped together because they were fighting....I know call CPS....but it wasn't effective at teaching them a lesson because they were laughing so hard............
Hey, you gotta' do what you gotta' do!!! Now, the next time one of my munchkins tear up one of their good diapers--I'll know exactly what to do! Thanks for a great tip! Those are some darling little girls, I gotta' say!
I can happily say, in fact, I am proud to say we use duct tape alot around here - ha ha. We have used it for just about anything and everything - i could probably write a book!
