I Am The Champion

I am multi~talented, you know!

I thought that you might really be impressed at another one of my many talents.

One of which I was the champion of my neighborhood.

I was GOOD!

I was the BEST!

I could even do it with 'no hands'.

It's about the only thing that I held the bragging rights for.

Not only can I roller skate.

Not only can I walk on stilts.

I can Pogo!

I was the best Pogo Stick jumper in my neighborhood!

I held the record of jumps!

That record still stands today!

I know, I know, you just

can't believe it, but ask

my brother and sisters,

just who was the best!

It was me!

I was the best!

Now with this awesome talent, I'm really surprised that I haven't gone further in this life!?!

I really thought it would help me get to the front of the line a little more often than it has.

I tend to look back and realise that maybe I should have concentrated on my other talents a little more.
Maybe I could have been a Champion of the Roller Derby!

I missed my chance.

Don't miss your chance.
Go for it today, don't miss your great chance at what your awesome talents are,
you can to be a champion too!

I am the champion, my friend

And I'll keep on fighting till the end

I am the champion

I-I-I am the champion

But gone is the loser 'cause

I am the champion of the

WORLD!!

I loved the pogo stick too - although I was not the neighborhood champ.

With no hands? You are amazing! Are you still pogo-sticking? I think we should all take the challenge of pogo-ing the longest!
We'd have to take a video and post it, but I have a feeling, your video would be too long to post!

As her Daddy, I will verify what her brother said, she was the champion. I know for I counted them. She was like that little Bunny comercial, she just kept on going, it was amazing. Somewhere around a thousand.

I don't know if she got that from me or not. I didn't do pogo but I did do 1609 bat backs, you know the paddle with a rubber ball with a rubber string attached.

Now Gigi's nephew Eli, my grandson got a pogo stick last Christmas and practiced till he got the hang of it and while I counted he did 100 jumps and then just quit. I asked him why he stopped, he said he just wanted to get to 100.

When you got it, you just got it!!!

Eli is here visiting his grandparents and wants you to know when he gets back home he will accept the challenge to beat you in the pogo jumps, and will exceed you 1000 something jumps. And when he makes up his mind to do something,he will try his best.
Friday when we went to the beach, I was teaching him how to bodysurf and before long he followed my intructions and caught a very long ride on a wave that took him in till his stomach hit the sand bottom. He is a competitor.
Love,
Papa
