Just being helpful

What kind of friend would I be if I didn't share this little piece of advice with all of you, my best bloggin buddies!

If this is what you have left over from Saturday night.
Take it and hide it from your kiddo's.

Or if you don't have any kiddo's.
Hit the stores today and snatch up some of that candy that's on sale.
Because you are going to need it.

Christmas is coming and there are stockings to stuff!

And then there is Super Bowl Sunday with all the great food.
Throw a bowl of that candy right in the middle of the table.

And the last little bit of candy you have make Valentine bags for all your friends.
Way to RECYCLE!

Great tips for all that candy. The downside? Having all that candy in my house scares me. lol Blessings, SusanD

My dad will eat it all before we get to Thanksgiving! I usually prefer fruity candy, but once in a while I gots to have some chocolate. Mom left the candy buying up to dad this year, and he bought only the good stuff (I think so that he can have all the left overs).

There was none left over at our house.

Ugh! I'm so candied out I think I want to be sick! We had all of our grandkids here over the weekend and they made a haul.
I didn't save any of our left overs. As it got later and later I started giving out handfuls to the trick or treaters. I needed it out of the house.
However, yesterday, I decided to make a big plate of fudge...cause I'm so sick of candy and all that!
Sheesh.

Looks like your grandgirls made out like bandits....or was that YOUR Halloween sack?

Well, we didn't buy one bag of candy this year, Papa, you reckon that's why?

When you live 42 plus years in one place all the neighborhood children grow up and move away leaving only old folks...

Course Papa went to "Trunk or Treat" at the church and helped with fixing & serving hotdogs.

I didn't know you were so recyclish.
But good ideas. IF I were one to let it last that long. Therefore, NO candy at all in this house.

and BTW ---I am NOT pregnant (thanks for asking) I am on permanent birth control.....it's called MENOPAUSE.

you are fuuuuuuny

Excellent ideas! The diet will never start! :) (it never does for me - especially with cupcakes available) Thanks for adding my button! :)

Excellent tips. It's a good thing I didn't buy too much candy. I've been eating dum dums like crazy the past couple of weeks. Still have a whole bag left.

I am not into lollies, unless they are chocolate. But I like to come to your super bowl lunch. What are those tiny colourful heaps of interesting food in the square plate? Very pretty.

I was so strong this year and bought the kind I don't like. I have just a little left over to give to the Skater. They like candy all year.
