OH MY GOSH!!! Dairy Queen and Girls Scouts have teamed up and are Introducing the Amazingly Minty Girl Scouts Thin Mint Cookie Blizzard® Treat For July only!! They have teamed up to treat you to the first-ever combo of crunchy, chocolaty Girl Scouts Thin Mint cookies and creamy mint DQ soft serve. Before the month is over I will have one!! Can't wait! Thin mints are my favorite G/S cookies! And it's summertime, and it's HOT and everyone should have a little icecream in this heat!

Sounds yummy. I'll have to travel to Garden City,GA (just a few miles from my home) to get one. There's only one Dairy Queen in Savannah, and it's to far to travel. :)

I tried your homemade thin mint recipe and I need to say two things about it:
1: They didn't make me thin
2: Picky-Poo-Nate ate them so quick I thought I had made them in my dreams.
What a great combo...Thanks for that great treat idea for July...I will have to try it sometime...I love thin mints!

I've just discovered Ben and Jerry's Baked Alaska: vanilla ice cream, marshmallow swirls and white chocolate polo bears - scrummy!
