Just in case your were interested Harry's surgery yesterday went well and the DR. said that he didn't have to remove anymore dead tissue. The swelling was down enough that he was able to close it up and put in a drain. While they were in his foot they also took some bone to run cultures on. The Disease specialist came in last night and said the cultures that they took Wednesday have still not grown any bad things yet. The antibiotics are broad spectrum and are really covering the infection. What ever that means. His temperature is still normal and all the Dr.s are optimistic. They still have him scheduled for the Nuclear test on Monday and Tuesday and possibly another surgery on Wednesday like the one they did today. This will be an extended stay. His birthday is a week from today. July 26. It would be great to be out of the hospital by then but who knows. Thanks for caring and checking back on us we really appreciate all the prayers and well wishes.

Glad to hear things are going well so far and that the doctors seem happy...I'll be praying for a birthday bash at home!
Wow- I must say that based on the pictures, the hopsital in Brunswick is looking mighty nice! I was actually pretty happy with the care I received there when Kacey was born. I've already told my parents that I would rather die than be admitted to the hospital here again! They are all completely incompetent.
July 26th is my anniversary. I'm sorry to darken Harry's day with that info! I am hoping that he will be home soon and able to enjoy his birthday at home! I sure love you guys.
Glad to hear things are looking up. It really could have gone either way and it is nice to hear GOOD news!!!! Thinking of you still....and here is to a quick recover and a speedy getaway! LOL!
Hang in there and we will be praying for you
OH so glad to hear things are progressing well. I sure hope he's out for the birthday, but if not you can bring him a great one in the hospital. Keep us posted. I'm so glad to have you as a blogging buddy and I'm sending more prayers.
Seems like with all the joy in this world some also have trials so ominous to comprehend except by experience. Y'all are becoming proficient troupers in this genre of life.
We have y'all at the very top of our ever lengthening prayer list.
At present we're fasting with our prayers for you both today.
May Heavenly Father's blessings be with you both so that you may feel his tender omnipotent love for you. May you be lifted and comforted this day and in the days to come.
Hugs, Love and Prayers Always,
mama
Gigi, Hope all continues to go well with Harry. I put his name on the prayer roll, when I am at the temple. (at least two days a week) We know there are miracles. It sounds like Harry has had a few already. Much love & prayers to you guys!
