I LOVE THESE BULBS!I just never knew how much until I started to replace them with these!
I HATE THESE LIGHT BULBS!BUT!!!!
I am slowly changing over. Going "green" is a slow process for me. As each old bulb bites the dust, I replace it with a new Compact Florescent Light (CFL) bulb. I hate them. I don't think that the lighting is as bright. There is just something I don't like about them. Besides that they are expensive. But I am trying, just slowly. This just makes me hate them more!

And whats up with every thing coming from China?? No wonder I'm haveing such a hard time.

I read something the other day that said that these lights cause photos to fade ... not sure if it's true. I liked them until I found out I was going to be forced to use them. They do last longer ... I had some that lasted over two years.
I haven't bought any of the "new" light bulbs yet because I'm too cheap! They are very expensive and now that I listened to Ted Poe I'm even more against them. Why can't we make them ourselves? I'm not sure why America thinks that shipping stuff over from China is sooo much cheaper...don't they charge shipping? :)
They make me look jaundiced in the bathroom.
That makes me a little frightened of them, makes me want to switch back to the old ones.

I think I'll stick with the ones I'm using now, until I'm forced to use the new light bulbs. Actually my husband's cousin switched to the new light bulbs, and gave us all the previous ones he had. (still in the box), so I have to use all of those first.
Now I'm thinking of switching back to the old ones. Who knew I was going to have to get out a protective suit just to throw the new ones away?

I hate the new lightbulbs! I'm so glad I'm not the only one. They seem dimmer to me and honestly they look kind of ugly in certain lamps...but that's just me.
i didn't watch the video, but i heard the new energy efficient light bulbs have MERCURY in them and you can't recycle THAT!!!
