Yer killin' me!!!!!!!!!! I love BLT's especially when it's one of my own 'maters, but as cold as it's been my tomato plants look as pathetic as the day I planted them. Eat one for me will ya?
I just love BTL's and there's nothing like home grown tomatoes. My tomatoes are producing so fast, that I had to freeze some of them this morning. Just about everyday for the past week, I've been able to pick a cereal bowl full of romas and grape tomatoes. I'm loving it. Tomato salad, tomato pasta salad, and tomatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, dill weed, and minced garlic. YUMMY. This is my second year of growing tomatoes. 5 plants produced this year, maybe next year I'll go for ten.
Do you know, that's the most popular item on our school lunch menu. I have to ask the dinner ladies to put one away for me because they run out by the time I finish dinner duty!

I managed to save one of my tomato plants but it is a long way to go before it produces any fruit. We must live in radically different time zones.
But I can't wait for my first taste of a fresh picked tomato.

One of my favorite meals :-) We have tomatoes from the garden and that makes it that much better.
