Harry and I were talking last night
and I asked him,
"Don't you think you've lost a little weight?"
I mean, you know hospital food and everything.
He holds his leg up and says,
"yeah, I'd say 10 or 15 lbs."
He got me!
I never saw that one coming
I hope yall aren't offended by that,
you just have to know Harry and his
sense of humor. It gets him through
almost everything and it hasn't stopped
with the loss of his foot.
Thank goodness!

1. Burger King (Uncle Don Padgett was the Manager and he hired me in High School, he use to make me clean the bathrooms)
2. Fabric Store
3. In college I sold Sewing Machines at the Provo, Utah Mall (actually bought a sewing machine and still have it and still use it. It is a White.)
4. Waitress for 20 years at several different places. 16 of those years for Steve Jackson who owned 2 different restaurants.

Some other things you may not know about me!
1. I've got the sweetest most patient husband ever. (even when I fill up his diesel truck with $70.00 worth of gas) and we will be married 30 years on Dec. 3, 2007
2. I love to White water raft. Rafted eastern rivers and western rivers and by far the eastern were the best. My Goal would be to raft the Colorado River but that takes a week or so but still want to do it! and Costa Rica.
3. Hiked 12 miles down Orderville canyon through the Narrows and into the Virgin River of Zion's National Park . It included repelling, sliding, jumping into the water and a little swimming! Took about 13 hours. We started before daylight so we could get out before dark. Did it two years in a row!!!
4. I'm an organ donor, gave my sweetheart one of my kidney's.
5. I've got two wonderful sons, two wonderful daughter in laws and two beautiful granddaughters! Love spending time with all of them.
6. I'm the oldest of 5 children, and Love my parents and sisters and baby brother soooo much. Got great in-laws, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews and extended family!
7. I Love the Lord and love doing my church work.
NOW, here's what you're supposed to do... and please do not spoil the fun.

Well I must say that my Dad has said that too.
My Dad lost his leg around this same time last year. It is really tough but he cracked alot of jokes about his leg.
One of the ones he talked about was going a pirate for Halloween and having a wooden leg. Hee Hee
That is a quick way to lose weight. I might try that on my stomach. Oh, you forgot to mention that you love your aunt in Utah, who is still beautiful, sexy, smart and not rich. Oh well, so much for that. Auntie Betsy
