Msa. Manda and Prudy!

My squash sharing, tomato picking friend, baked me some banana bread that was out of this world. I broke my fast with a big hunk of it on Sunday. It was so moist and wonderful. There is only a small piece left. Shame on me! If you like banana bread this one is great. Click here if you want the recipe. Thank you, Msa Manda!

On a different note, Prudy posted a recipe yesterday on her blog for Chocolate Malted Whopper Cookies using Reese's Peanut Butter Whoppers! Did you know that there was such a thing? Peanut Butter Whoppers!?! I excused myself from the husbands bedside and went to Wal-mart and bought me some, right then and there! I'll make that recipe soon, just you wait and see. Reese's Peanut butter cups are most favorite candy ever.

I've seen quite a few banana bread recipes lately...I guess it's the season. They all look and sound so yummy. I was amazed that peanut butter Whoppers existed too. On my next trip to the grocery, I'm going to look for them.

That banana bread sounds like the perfect thing to break the fast on. Get some yummy sugar into your blood!
I was cracking up that you went to Wal Mart yesterday and came home with Ovaltine and PB whoppers. I bought two containers since my children are going to eat their way through one for sure and I have to have some around for cookies.
The updates are looking so good. My husband is PT-and a good one too-so if I can ever ever help you in any way. If you have questions or anything at all-let me know. I know I'm far away but we will do anything we can.
Which reminds me, I sent Harry a silly Far Side book from Amazon-but I clicked too fast and never wrote who it was from or anything at all. I will send a card, but if you get a strange package in the mail, it's only that. I thought it might be fun to read something light and comical. Anyway, this is getting to be a marathon comment. I wonder how long a comment can be before they shut you off and send you packing? I'll close now so I'll never know.:)

I don't think there's anything more delicious and addicting than homemade bannana bread. It's one of the few things Nate eats and doesn't follow with "it doesn't taste like my moms."
