How sad. But I hope they make a movie about his life and love with his wife.
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid is one of my favorite movies. And, those eyes...he had beautiful eyes!
What a wonderful full life he had and what a great person. I loved his acting and the acting of his wife Joanne Woodward. I am a great fan of theirs and will miss him.
He was tops in his craft!!! Whatever it was: actor, director, race car driver (he practiced & raced at Pooler, GA - found that out from Sandy & Sheri.)and dressings for salad; "Paul Newman's Dressings" proceeds of which he gave to charity.
I saw most of his movies and loved them, one of my favorites is "The Sting" also starring Robert Redford who starred with him in "Butch Cassidy . . . .,they had a great comraderie in film and off.
He aged well and handsomely, next to Papa's he had the most beautiful blue eyes!!!
A Great American!!! I am deeply saddened by his passing.

He was gorgeous wasn't he?
You missed out that he was the voice of Doc Hudson in Disney's 'Cars' - very important in this house!
He will be missed.
