Out of the box

I finally got my new camera out of the box yesterday. Was able to snap a few pictures of Reagan before heading off to class. I started 'Fundamentals of Photography' last night. I feel lost and overwhelmed already. I'm looking forward to the end results.

Reagan looks so much older...such pretty blue eyes. Have fun with your class...I want to do some classes like that when I've got some older kids or less kids in the house one day...good luck!

She's so purdy, doesn't matter what camera you use. I hope you'll learn lots of good stuff and give us all tutorials.

The pictures are beautiful and message attached on Harry was wonderful. I shed a tear & bowed my head and thanked Heavenly Father.

Love,
Papa

I think you'll do great. The first couple of days are always the hardest because you're a little unsure of yourself.
Besides, if it was easy, it wouldn't be worth your time. As the great Tom Hanks said in A League of Their Own "It's suppose to be hard, if it wasn't hard everyone would be doing it. The hard is what makes it good."

I would love a nice DSLR (and all the fancy schmancy lenses you seem to need along with it!). Too bad they are pricey and so big! I think I'm just getting anew small point and shoot for Christmas. Can't wait to see your progress, when we come to town if you want some new subjects let me know!
