Each Life That Touches Ours For Good
Each life that touches ours for good
Reflects thine own great mercy, Lord;
Thou sendest blessings from above
Thru words and deeds of those we love.
What greater gift doest thou bestow,
What greater goodness can we know
Than Christlike friends, whose gentle ways
Strengthen our faith, enrich our days.
When such a friend from us departs,
We hold forever in our hearts
A sweet and hallowed memory,
Bringing us nearer, Lord, to thee.
For worthy friends whose lives proclaim
Devotion to the Savior's name,
Who bless our days with peace and love,
We praise thy goodness, Lord above.

We have lost a very special friend, as well as relative.
Today was his funeral.
A beautiful service to honor the life of a beloved man of God. His Christ-like example will always be remembered.
How blessed we all were to have known and loved him.
He will be greatly missed.

Hard to replace a man like Willard.
But I guess the Lord needed another good worker in throne above.
Sorry we missed the service but mom had a bad night and as it turned out I didn't have such a good day.

And the weather was abominably C O L D ! As cold and colder than the January funerals of family members in the past at Pigot Cemetary
We WERE planning to go and wanted so much to be with the family. We're finding though, we just don't have the stamina to do all the things we truly want to do.
While that was a good photo of Willard, I can only remember his beautiful smile and jovial upbeat self.
