Sew Fun

I got caught up on about half of my sewing projects. I sew love to sew sometimes it's all I want to do and other times it is such a chore. Lately I have wanted to sew and get irritated if someone bothers me when I'm hard at it.
On the other hand, THANK YOU sew much for your help with the serger information. The common consensus is that they all are a beast to thread. I must have someone show me over and over before I even think about buying one.
I'll let you know of my progress.
It will probably be slow because I sure don't want to waste my money for something else to sit around this old house and collect dust.
Make it a good day!

I lost my sewing machine in the the big flood of '05 = (

I've been thinking of getting another machine, but with work and stuff I don't want to spend the $$

I'm like you with sewing, once I'm in the mood which is about every 2 years or sew...get out of my way!

Cute blog! Thanks for commenting on mine. I have your name for the drawing.
I love the vintage looking sewing book! If only I looked so calm when I sewed. I have had two sergers and my first one (a white) was a beast to thread. The second one I have is so much easier (bernina). I would be lost without it!

I love sewing too - but only in simple, straight lines.

Quilts. I LOVE quilting.

But I'm up a creek when it comes to clothes!

I miss sewing, but I've decided to dedicate this summer to sewing. I'm not taking any classes this summer, so I should have plenty time to sew. I have about 3 quilts I need to complete. One is for my son, who will graduating from the US Air Force Academy. I found some material at Wal-Mart that has the AF symbol on it, so I think it will be special to him.
All in favor of sewing say, "I".
