Though New Zealand is far away in the middle of no where, we are not immuned to swine flu. We had a group of students who have just returned from mexico, some have shown signs of the dreaded swine flu. so it is really scary.
I was in Singapore when SARS broke out. that was real scary!!!!

I figure if malaria did'nt kill me in 1989, swine flu dose not have a chance, just avoid large groups of people and wash your hands alot..:-)
