Really fantastic photos. I am always intrigued by old grown over properties especially in the spring when you see bright cheerful jonquils coming up! Makes you wonder where everyone has gone and why a relative did not want the place.
Fabuloso! Gigi, you have some great pictures. The photo with the red and blue chairs reminds me of a scene in a movie having to do with the civil rights movement. I don't know why I thought of that, but that's what it makes me think of.
I like the tanks.......but all of your photos are amazing. I love all this old stuff. Like Mildred said, it makes you wonder where everybody has gone.
That first house reminds me of my grandparent's house. Do you think the sign means that there are honey dipped donut sandwiches? If that's the case, I think I know where everyone went...cholesterol will eventually take care of ya. Great pictures.
Fantastic shots Gigi!!! I really like that first one, up top, but they're all pretty awesome. You're getting better, and better, and better, and better......
A treasure trove here! For lunch today I think I will make myself a honey-dipped sandwich, with a coke. I love that sign! And all of your others too. Terrific.
Gigi, I really enjoyed the stroll. The house with the rusty tin roof reminds me of my grandparents' house in Georgia, years ago. I enjoyed a nice snooze during a rainstorm. Thanks.
such a lot of great photos, my fav is the one with the colored chairs out front and the hold house with the tin roof and the wrap porch - I could live there but would have to have a garden in front.
I love all the things you captured...my father used to joke and say he would buy that stuff for me when I got married, and I would get mad...now it speaks to me, and inspires my writing!
Honey donut sandwiches? Now that's the good old days when there was no such thing as cholesterol! Too funny! These weathered shoots are awesome. You've been busy. I love the second photo of the grandma house with the wrap around porch and the gingerbread. You just know there is something yummy in that house. Maybe that's where they make the donut sandwiches. I really enjoyed your photos. Thanks for taking the time.

Amazing pictures, as usual!
Maybe you could include a picture of Mickey Rourke's face. :)
Oh my, you captured everything. I love them all.
My favorites are the first and last, the rusty building, and the bus station rocks. I like both the color and b/w.
Excellent choices, all. Love the variety.

Great pictures Gigi! You really should add pictures of my hubby....he's aged and weathered!
Those are all cool! Good job!!
Fabulous pictures. I really like the building w/the balcony.
The photos of the grand-girls too. They sure bring a smile just by their joy of life.
Blessings, SusanD

wonderful shots - love the sign.
Oooh, I love your aged and weathered photos! I'm just glad you didn't use a picture of me, now that I'm a year older and all. LOL
Nice choices. I especially like the trunks.
You got some really great shots. I don't know why but the last one I really like with the lock.
Excellent post! That last one of the house is my favorite.

Wow - great shots! I loved the ones that you took of the Greyhound station.

Great stuff Gigi! Even the pay phone is aged - they're a dying breed.
The simplicity of that last shot makes it quite powerful, I feel. But I loved them all. Terrific post!
Fantastic shots! You really captured the theme this week!! :)
You have some great shots here! My favorites are the building with the missing windows, the metal tanks, and the last shot of the doors with the lock.
Oh girl, you have taken the cake this week.
Excellent, excellent photos. Superb.

Just a wonderful assortment, Gigi. I love old and weathered things :-)
I'm going to drop out of the shoot out for a while. I just have too many things I really need to do... they've been put off too long.
