Have you noticed the new packaging of Wal~Mart brand products? Well, I have and you would think that the new plain look would cost less wouldn't you? But NO! The old green packaging was $1.46 the new plain white packaging is now $1.79!
I guess it costs more to be plain!

On a different note, yesterday as Shelby and I were heading home from another photo shoot I spotted this set of tracks. I've been wanting to try and take some pictures here. These tracks run behind Griffis Steel Co. and being it was a late Sunday afternoon and not much traffic or anything else going on and I had the camera, and the time and a willing participant it was a good time to try and take some pictures.
(If you click on the picture you can enlarge it for more detail.)
As we got out there on the tracks I told Shelby, "your mama would die if she saw us out here!"
It didn't take but a few minutes and I snapped a few shots and we got back in the truck and went on home.
Once we got home, I loaded the pictures on the computer.
I thought, I think I'll load them on to Face book.

REALLY great photos Gigi! I hope you and Shelby aren't in the doghouse with your DIL. Priceless photos and memories.
I love those pictures...They were beautiful! All these babies are getting so big!
Such great pictures! And boo on Walmart!
Really awesome pics! I have learned...if you don't want ppl to know, don't post it on FB! hahaha Blessings, SusanD
You're right, can't remember ever seeing her or Rae without the bow in the hair. But they are still beautiful girls. They come from good stock.
And you are right about Wal-Mart packaging and prices. They just got through with re-arranging our local Wal-Mart and we can hardly find anything, everyone's the same walking around looking and hunting and asking where's so and so. I don't like it too much right now but in time I'll get use to it.
Love to all,
Dad(papa)
I hate the new packaging from Walmart.... I think it makes the products look really cheap! Also I love that first picture of Shelby you should blow it up and put it in a pretty frame! Very good job, keep it up and we will have to come and get a family picture made from you when little Anna gets here!
im not mad at ya, the pics turned out cute!! i was shocked however, your usually telling me about letting the girls do crazy things. I guess i am a little over protective, like the alligator thing. haha. love ya! christon
Gorgeous photos!! I love that they're in black and white.
Have a great day!
The pics of Shelby are precious! Hmm, I guess minimalism is more expensive.
Cute pictures - I love the railroad track scene. And your model is gorgeous! :)
Too cute! I love the railroad idea.
That is a cute story. I love railroad track pictures. I did them one year with my girls - there is just something about the look.
These are adorable!
Christon's a good sport and these photos are wonderful. My favorite is Shelby balancing on the tracks. Oh, how many times I remember balancing on a little sidewalk edging in front of the home I grew up in!!! You are so talented.
the last photo is excellent.
That cracks me up! A day with Grandma and we're playing on the railroad tracks! Busted!
Beautiful pictures of such a darling girl.
So what's up with Wal-mart. What's their slogan, we're turning back prices? Yeah, right.
Great photos. I love the black and white too, just looks awesome. I love the one of her with her arms spread out, trying to balance on the tracks. Aw, tell her momma' it's only ok if Gramma is watching really close! LOL
BEAUTIFUL photos! your are a pro at this hobby now.
love to all
Gigi, I love these photos. They are fabulous. I like the first one and the third one best. Shelby is a good model. wow. I am inspired once again.
