Last week Cherie over on Bakow Babble made and shared this wonderful recipe for fudge that is pretty enough to serve for Halloween and fall treats. So I made it and got down to the part where you add the food coloring and found that I didn't have any Red Food Coloring :{ You know I must have used it all on that Red Velvet Cake or the Red Velvet Cheesecake the last time I made it, any who, all I had was yellow. Well I must tell you that it turned out tasting GREAT but it looked like CRAP! I am to embarrassed to show my picture so I asked permission from Cherie to show her picture and she agreed. Thank you much Cherie.
**Now my word of caution to you is this: Make it! Taste it! Have one more little taste! Now cut it up and run next door and give it to your neighbors. Take it to work. Hey, take it to the ladies you visit teach or leave some in the mail box for your favorite postman but DON'T KEEP IT AROUND YOUR HOUSE! You might just eat more than you really need. It's that good!

Orange Marble Fudge
3/4 cup butter
3 cups sugar
3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
1 package vanilla or white chips
1 Jar marshmallow creme
3 teaspoons orange extract
12 drops yellow food coloring
5 drops red food coloring
Grease a 13 x 9 inch pan. In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar, cream and butter . Cook and stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 4 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in chips and marshmallow creme until smooth. Remove 1 cup and set aside.
Add orange extract and food colorings to the remaining mixture; stir until blended. Pour into prepared pan. Drop the reserved mixture by tablespoonfuls over top; cut through mixture with a knife to swirl. Cover and refrigerate until set - then you can leave it on the counter. This must be made many, many times throughout the Fall!
