We went to the beach last weekend for Labor Day.
I picked up my suitcase from the back of the play room.
It felt heavier than usual for an empty suitcase.
I opened it up and to my surprise this is what I found.
Someone had packed it for me.
Inside I found, Ernie, two blankies,
a sock monkey, a black stuffed dog,
a baby crib sheet, two pairs of size 2 panties,
1 wash cloth, 3 socks (none of which matched)
and a coon skin hat.
Funny thing is that I never missed any of
these things and I sure wouldn't need
them at the beach.
But it was the thought that counts right?

Hilarious! Did anyone fess up? It reminds me of a time we were going out of town. My youngest, who was 6 at the time, packed his own suitcase. Just before we left I asked to inspect the contents. He opened up the suitcase to reveal a pair of under shorts, one shirt and his large radio controlled monster truck! Before I said anything he immediately grabbed the truck and said, "How did that get in there?"

Has been a while since I watched Sunny Day.....
Used to watch it everyday when Sam was little.
Sam was given an Elmo. when he grew out of it, I used it as my teaching aid. The husband, when I was away for a month, decided to give the house a spring clean and gave my Elmo away. How can you pick a fight when you have been away for one month?????
So cute!! Someone was ever so thoughtful. Look at all the companions they packed for Ernie. And don't you know a coon skin cap is the perfect accessory for any outfit?

What a great surprise for you! I love that kind of thing. Every so often I'll buy a cute funny romantic card and sneak it somewhere that my wife will find it. My favorite trick however was to leave one of my wife's favorite candy bars in our bank safety deposit box.
now that is what i call packing for a toddler emergancy! lol too funny!
Every time I see a cute story about your Grands, I get all tingly and want one of my own to play with! How sweet they packed for you. At least they remembered to pack you clean undies. :)

Wow, that's funny. From the evidence(size 2 panties) I think we have a very good lead.
We would have loved to been there but just didn't feel like going out. Maybe next time.

That's all the stuff I REALLY need espeically for the beach. Those Grandgirls have it going on!
That is so funny. I remember one time my husband and I were packing our suitcase to go out of town and while we were out of the room, my dog put her chewy in the suit case. It was the funniest thing.
